To be a dedicated sales person is to be dedicated to professionalism. Professionalism is the pinnacle of any trade or career choice. To commit yourself to being a professional sales person you must be willing to dedicate yourself to your continuing education. The world of business and sales is changing constantly. The only way to render that change irrelevant with regards to your career in sales is to stay abreast of the latest books authored by sales experts. If you are not willing to push yourself away from the bar, or the television or the gossip magazines or any other empty forms of mindless fulfillment, then your just aren't dedicated. And you will eventually be surpassed by those of your peers that are more dedicated and are willing to do the work necessary to continually improve themselves.
